Shawn and Tommy handled every aspect of the job, including thorough prep work, precise painting, and meticulous finishing touches. They pride themselves on having the job done completely when finished. They worked with us on timing (and even delayed a week as other kitchen activities were finishing up) as we needed to coordinate the kitchen remodel, floor finishing and painting. They painted our kitchen and dining room, covering ceilings, walls, skylights, trim, and doors, all while maintaining a friendly, quiet, and neat presence in our home. When the project was complete, the area was spotless and looks absolutely beautiful. We were highly impressed with their service and will definitely hire them again for our future painting needs! We recently wrapped up a renovation of our living room, which included installing new Sheetrock ceilings and crown molding. As we were getting close to our deadline, we realized that priming and painting the new ceiling and trim was going to be far more labor-intensive and time-consuming than we could handle on our own. We decided to look for a local painting company to help us stay on track, and that’s when we came across Brothers and Brushes.

From the start, we were impressed. Shawn sent over a proposal quickly and was extremely accommodating when we explained our tight timeline and the limited days we’d be home. He even rearranged their schedule to ensure the work could be completed on the days that worked best for us — something we truly appreciated.

On the day of the job, Tommy contacted us first thing in the morning with his ETA and arrived right on time. He did an outstanding job on both the ceiling and the crown molding. On top of that, he even offered to cut in the ceiling with our wall color to help speed up the rest of our project — completely above and beyond the original scope and not something included in the proposal. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship were exceptional.

Both Shawn and Tommy were incredibly professional, friendly, and committed to helping us meet our deadline while delivering high-quality work. We’re thrilled with the results and will absolutely be using Brothers and Brushes again for future projects. Highly recommend!

I recently had some patches of wood siding replaced on my home and unfortunately the siding company didn't paint. With winter fast approaching I needed to get them painted ASAP. I consider myself a capable Veteran with over 20 yrs experience in a maintenance career so when I hire “experts” to do a job, I expect their work and attention to detail to be of equal or higher quality than mine. My experience dealing with Brothers & Brushes (Shawn & Tommy) exceeded my expectations. I called, left a brief voice mail and within 20 minutes received a phone call from Shawn. After an awesome conversation I was able to text him some pictures of the area of siding that needed painting. After a quick glance at the pictures he verbally gave me an estimate that was $300 cheaper than a competitor so I jumped on the offer. Within 5 minutes he had sent me an actual estimate over email and text. Signing the estimate electronically to move forward was so easy.
Apparently I caught them at a good time because they were in between jobs and although they don’t usually work on the weekend my job small enough that the brothers took it on personally. Early Saturday morning Tommy showed up personally to start prep work. As I said I'm handy so I like watching and learning about jobs I'm not to familiar with. I enjoyed talking to him seeing the tools they use and learning, hopefully without distracting him to much. After Sometime Shawn showed up. (guess he got tired of sitting in the office while his bro did all the work 😃). After watching them work it was clear that I had made the right choice of hiring them because it was way more work than I wanted to do. Tommy actually playfully scolded Shawn that the job should have probably cost more because the picture didn't do it justice and I could not have agreed more. Some previous lazy painter just painted around a gutter downspout from the 2nd floor to the ground instead of painting behind it. They noticed the downspout close to their work area and took the initiative to go above and beyond. They removed the downspout, painted behind it and reinstalled it. If I hadn’t gone outside and observed them correcting it I don’t think I would have noticed. They never brought it up but I wanted to thank them for fixing it because it wasn’t part of the agreed upon work.
As far as reviews go I look at total number High reviews but I usually only read the Bad reviews and judge for myself if the people are justified or maybe unreasonable. I seldom waste time writing reviews because most companies do enough to meet the minimum standard seldom warrant me using my valuable time to heap praise upon them. I been working on this review on and off for 2 days now trying to get it right because I wanted to share with people how great you guys are. I don't have an after photo but rest assured it looks better than before. I care about helping people and doing a good job but I'm not a writer, maybe should have hired one to write this lol. I know eventually given enough reviews this will be buried at the bottom of a review pile and seldom seen but if it helps one person pick a great company then it was worth it. You guys better not let me down because I'm vouching for you so keep up the great work!

Our new home needed to have a complete transformation on the first floor and going up the stairs. My husband and I were incredibly impressed with the quality of work and the attention to detail. Many light fixtures had to be adjusted so that the painters could complete the job. The painters arrived early, stayed late and completed the job in record time. When you hire this company, you really do get two brothers who communicate and check in on the project, daily. We would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
