Better Auto Care

I've been coming here for many years. I have an old Subaru I don't take to the dealership anymore. I purchased a lift kit and had them install it. I also purchased tires via tire rack and they installed for me.

I had a leak I thought was coming from my oil tank but it was from my transmission which made sense bc I wheel alignment issue and the mount was loose.

They replaced my brake pads and rotors and cost was very reasonable.

The work is good and honest but customer service may be lacking. It's an auto center in Kenilworth not the 4 seasons.

I did not have my car checked here however the person who answered the phone was super helpful. I needed to get my car inspected but the guy who answered the phone informed me that since my car is not 5 years old that I can get it done for free at the DMV. He throughly explained what I needed to do. He was very helpful and I am most appreciative. Other places I called in the area did not take the time to explain so this guy saved me a lot of time and money. Thank you again

I stopped going to Better Auto Care cause It seemed like Eli no longer wanted to fix my vehicle. I complained a few times to Eli about a metal on metal touching sound when I turn the corner and also about a bouncy wobbly feeling when driving my car. He CLAIMED he didn't see anything wrong with it. I took it to another mechanic and immediately he was able to identify the problem. Turns out that I need new cv boots ( that's why I was hearing the metal touching metal sound) and I also need new sway bars links with new springs ( that's why I was experiencing the bouncy wobbly feel while driving). How can a trained mechanic not see that. If he really had check out my car or even driven it he would have noticed that right away. I'm not a mechanic and I noticed something was wrong with my vehicle. I use my vehicle to do Uber and that not only dangerous to me but also my passengers and other people on the road, for a trained mechanic to say their is nothing wrong with the car.

I won't take my car any place else. Proud to say they have been my mechanics for over 10 years and my friends go there too!! No not cheap, but not over priced either. They are honest, and the job is done right the first time. Ladies if you're looking for a good mechanic go here. Great Service!!
