From start to finish, the entire Distinctive Domain team told us what to expect next, delivered on promises, and in cases where there were delays caused by external factors, provided us full transparency. It felt like a full-service team from architecture to design to project management to delivery, with a personal touch throughout. My family is extremely pleased with the final product, and equally appreciative of the journey made easier by DD. Special thanks to Jim, Pati, Dan and Jim (not a repeat).

Distinctive Domain is a dream team. We initially were looking at a lot DD had for sale. While that didn’t work out, we let DD know we loved their work and wanted them to build our home. DD stuck with us throughout the process of searching for another lot. Jim even went out of his way to check out a couple different lots we found.

The build/design process was flawless. It’s amazing to have a one stop shop that covers everything from finances, to architectural design, to construction, and interior/exterior design. Jim, Dan, Owen, and Pati were honest, organized, attentive to our tastes, and helpful providing guidance for each decision we had to make.

Overall, the process of building our house was exciting, enjoyable, and easy thanks to DD. We couldn’t be happier with our new home.

We bought our brand-new home in 2018 from Distinctive Domain and sold it in 2023 when we moved out of New Jersey. Although our stay was short, we can’t say enough good things about Distinctive Domain. Jim Brenn and his team built an exceptional home. The craftsmanship is par excellence, with great attention to detail. The house is very energy efficient and has high-value appliances. The design is flawless and functional, and we have loved and enjoyed every moment of our stay.

When we first bought the house, Jim and Dan made the process smooth and efficient. Throughout the years, they maintained excellent communication and were always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. They are straightforward, reliable, easy to work with, and make a great team. We strongly recommend Jim and his team!

Phenomenal, We couldn't be happier with our new home and Distinctive Domain! From designing our custom home through project completion, the Distinctive Domain team always exceeded our expectations. They were very open to and accommodating of our desired changes throughout the entire building process. Most importantly they listened to our needs, understood them and then provided expert advice so we could make the best decisions.

Their quality workmanship, professionalism, service and the dream home that was delivered speak for themselves. We were wary of building during COVID, expecting material shortages and cost overruns, but their team navigated every bump and kept the project on schedule and on budget! They kept us in the loop with constant updates and were transparent about everything that impacted the project.
