I started seeing the father, Dr. Samuel The years ago. I somehow transitioned to the son, Dr. Andrew. The both of them are the best doctors I've ever been to. They're so kind and thorough. Dr. Andrew listens, explains and tries to come up with solutions before pushing medication...and they take their time with you. You never feel rushed. They've even squeezed me in on a few occasions, where the wait was long, but that's only because I didn't have an appointment. I've never had any issues with the staff. If you leave a voicemail, they will typically get back to you at the end of the day. Both offices, Rutherford & Hackensack are extremely busy and they do their best to accommodate everyone. I go to the Hackensack office because the parking is easier.

Found my problem just by reading the chart that 3 previous doctors, including 2 facilities that did a total of 5 sleep studies on me, missed. Phenomenal.

I like Dr. The, he’s is very thorough and listens to everything you have to say. He explains everything clearly and takes time with you. You can tell he truly cares for his patients. That being said, the front desk doesn’t want to make in person appointments. I was told due to a covid spike. Sometimes you need a hands on visit. I had covid back in April and was recovered. Had a separate issue and couldn’t get in to see him. I was told that I needed a negative covid test to make an appointment and an at home test wouldn’t do, if I didn’t want the telemed visit. I explained that I already had covid and recovered and I was having a sinus issue. I was told she would talk to the doctor and call me back after asking him what he wanted to do with me. I never heard back. I had to make an appointment elsewhere and got treatment for a sinus infection. It was very disappointing. I have never heard of a doctors office refusing to see sick people. I would have given 5 stars before this happened. It may not have been the doctors fault but if you can’t get passed reception, it does you no good.
