John is extremely helpful. Couldn’t be more thankful for everything he has done even when I was a new customer and he didn’t even see my horse yet he guided me through every step. He’s been by my side through this journey with trying to get my horse better and I will always be grateful. He is by far the best farrier I have ever had and is very trustworthy. Everyone on this team is very knowledgeable and friendly!!

I have been a client of East Coast Hoof and Wellness Center for over 18 years and the consistent care and professionalism from this group is unmatched. John Rispoli and Louie Fahrion truly standout in their field with all they do to continue their education in research and development of equine podiatry. Most importantly they are kind horsemen who handle my horse as if he were their own, are so respectful and curtious of the boarding facility I am at, and easy to get a hold of when needed. I am lucky to have them on the team that cares for my horse.

Being relatively new to owning a horse can be extremely overwhelming and honestly scary. Going through various farriers to assess my Thoroughbred’s hurting feet was a challenge. I felt like a failing horse mom until I was introduced to East Coast Hoof & Wellness Center. John and his incredibly intelligent and caring team transformed my horse’s quality of life and taught me in the process. Answering my endless stream of questions not only benefitted my knowledge in caring for my horse, but it also demonstrated the passion John and his team have in helping our horses. The East Coast Hoof & Wellness Center quiet the overwhelming feelings and promote an inspiring and welcoming sense of community for me and my horse.

My mom (Tracy) recently bought a horse, she scheduled an appointment with East Coast Hoof and Wellness to come out and do his farrier appointment - they were very professional, gentle and did an excellent job. 2 weeks later the horse had a chip on his hoof - she contacted John and informed him and within 15 minutes he sent out his farrier Evan to fix the chip. We highly recommend them as your farrier for any horse needs! 10/10 stars!

John and his team have been nothing but professional, honest and polite the entire time I’ve been working with them. They came recommended to me by a friend and I honestly couldn’t imagine finding a better team for my horse. John is responsive, always returns phone calls and messages, timely and will work with you in a pinch to ensure your horse is taken care of. His team is made up of some of the best professionals I have ever met. He ensures everyone is trained properly and their work is quality checked. The veterinarians on his staff are top notch and come highly recommended. I was having issues with my horse having right front lameness. We couldn’t figure out what was going on. He not only came out a week earlier than we originally scheduled but he brought his entire team. They did radiographs, light sedation, a nerve block and his vet was able to very quickly pin point the issue. They aren’t about making you spend unnecessary money on expensive tests or procedures. They do what’s necessary, give their honest opinion and advice and they don’t jerk you around or try and full you to make a buck. They are truly good people with a very honest business. Not only that they are extremely good at what they do, very knowledgeable and their work is amazing. Turns out my guy had uneven hoofs and with all the new ground work and training he was doing he was very sore. So he got a new pair of fancy sneakers to balance him out and no kidding two days later he was good as new. Thank the Lord I had John and his team come and not someone else because who knows what someone else would have put my poor guy through to get to the same conclusion. I also don’t think the shoes would have been anywhere near the quality of work John’s is. I’ve seen the work of farriers in this area and they are not on John’s level. I can’t recommend him enough. He’s worth every penny and more!
