My daughter has been going to first step since she was 7 months old. Lynne and her staff have daughter her so many things like using utensils, hanging up her jacket, you know the little things that matter! She is always coming home with the cutest art projects and always happy when I pick her up. I actively see Lynne and her staff cleaning, working with the kids and they are always professional. Not to mention that first step is one of the more affordable day care centers in the area. They truly treat my daughter like she’s one of their own. As a parent the staff is very accommodating with my changing schedule and they work with me to ensure the best possible care. I highly recommend!

First Step Learning Center of Lebanon is beyond Amazing! Mrs. Lynne and staff go the extra mile! My daughter runs into the classroom and greets everyone with a hug!!! You cannot ask for anymore then that! They make learning so much fun for everyone I can’t ask for anymore. This is 100 percent the best school in HC!

I have known Miss Lynne and First Step for a long time. I cannot say enough good things about how much care and concern goes into the way that the school is run. In the childcare business, reputation is very Important. The school is fully licensed. The children's development is a primary focus. And when my son started to exhibit signs of ADHD, Miss Lynne very professionally talked with me and offered resources for an early intervention; I was impressed with how she delivered the message in a caring way while expressing her concerns. .

When 9/11 occurred, Miss Lynne stayed open and took care of the children while parents were delayed getting to pick them up. Her sole focus that day was on protecting the children.

First Step offers a consistent environment, has low staff turnover, offers individualized education and it is caring place where I knew my child, and others, would be well cared for.

I am very happy we decided to have our kids attend First Step. The Staff is dedicated and caring. The kids have learned so much from their Alphabet to numbers and learning to share. The staff is very easy to work with. No other place I would want my kids to go.

My son attended First Step, had a terrific experience and has made lifelong friends. The staff had to broach the subject of ADHD and helped us in identifying the issue, addressing it early for an amazing outcome. They really care about the children and have been in business for a long time, showing commitment to excellence and quality care.
Additionally, when I moved to the area, I had emergency surgery and had no support. Miss Lynne took initiative, offered extended care and went above and beyond in supporting my son during the post-move transition and through my recovery. Her care and concern for him were stabilizing factors, setting him up for academic success, First Step was my lifeline.
In a world where child care has become a commodity, First Step and staff have created a nurturing, caring, safe and supportive environment for learning and personal interaction. It is this level of commitment to the students and their families that puts First Step head and shoulders above others.
