All I can say is that Dr. Gaito saved my life. She listened, thoroughly tested, and took her time to explain. I had been to 20 other specialists in a span of 1 year and they told me I was fine, that I should exercise, meditate, or that I just need to live with the myriad of symptoms I was having. I feel like I at least kept searching until someone listened. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Gaito.
When people say that she only looks at labs and not just symptoms, that is not realizing that it would be negligent on her part to do so. She makes sure to test and see what exactly you have going on as you can have lyme + coinfections. Labs play a huge part in figuring out what you have specifically and the degree. She won't treat if she sees it isn't warranted.
Dr Gaito is a wonderful doctor who truly listens to her patients and has dedicated her life to helping Lyme sufferers. She has been with me the entire time of my Lyme battle and helped me and my family, immensely. I highly recommend her.
