They're cheap, but you get what you pay for. I originally scheduled my 100 mile out-of state move for Monday. The week before my move, someone from the team asked me to change my move date to the previous day, which I agreed to. Then, two days before my new move date, I was contacted again to change to the previous day. I agreed, and I was assured the team would arrive as early as possible Saturday morning. The day of the move, I waited an hour for the movers to show up at the pickup location. After the first half hour, I called the person I'd been in contact with and he didn't answer the phone. I then received a call from the team that they'd be another 20 minutes because they realized they were unprepared for my move and had to turn back, though I'd confirmed my inventory and supply needs weeks in advance. Even though I paid for a 3-person team (to expedite the process), only 2 movers showed up and took their sweet time (6 hours to move a 1-bedroom apartment 100 miles). Fortunately, they only broke one glass and a $200 mirror for which no one was willing to take accountability (allegedly, the wind did it). Nice enough people, just lacking in professionalism.

The Good Life Moving Crew was extremely timely, professional and logistically strategic from the jump. As you can see from the picture, they did an amazing job.We hired them as Packers & Movers. They called prior to arrival to provide an accurate ETA, which is greatly appreciated. In addition, once the paperwork was signed, the Good Life Crew was what I would describe as collaborative and meticulous and proceeded to formulate a gameplan with myself, the client. They then went through each room with great attention to detail and completely packed our brownstone apartment in Harlem swiftly. The Packers did such a great job that I requested that they be hired again to move all of our boxes and furniture to our moving truck. The truck arrived and we had a 4 hour window to get everything on the truck.The movers packed our boxes so quickly, diligently and efficiently that the driver made sure to comment that he had never before seen such a proficient moving company and that he himself would recommend them for work as well. I highly, highly recommend that you hire Good Life Moving Service for your next move. You will not be disappointed. In fact, you will be impressed.

This is the second time I am using Good Life to move my family home. They are on time, professional, courteous, and work very hard. The operations manager, Chris, was extremely helpful and organized our move with efficiency. The team showed up as promised when they were planned. We utilized their packing services the day before the move and they wrapped all my furniture meticulously and took special care with all my belongings. When we arrived at the new house, they went the extra mile to ensure everything was placed where I wanted and that I was satisfied with every room. Their movers were courteous and helpful in every way. Will use them again in a snap should we move in the future. HIGHLY recommend!!
