I am extremely picky about my hair, so I don’t say this lightly. After getting pregnant with my daughter in June 2024, I cut all my hair off. I gave birth in February 2025, and my hair grew back a lot faster than I expected. I was torn between cutting it again or braiding it, but I knew I wanted something very specific. I wasn’t looking for someone who was learning stitch braids—I needed someone who truly knew what they were doing.

After searching for salons, I came across Helen Posh Beauty Bar. I decided to drive there New Year’s Eve Eve just to see the space, observe the stylists, and get a feel for the environment. The salon itself was beautiful, clean, and very posh—exactly the type of place I was hoping to find.

I met Temmy, who immediately asked what I was looking for and really listened. She let me know I could schedule an appointment—and to my surprise, they were able to accommodate me last minute on New Year’s Eve. I was honestly shocked and so grateful, especially since I was leaving town with my family and really needed my hair done.

The stylist who actually did my hair—I believe her name is Pemba—did an amazing job. Truly better than I expected. I am not the type of person who “just lets things slide.” If I don’t like something, I will say it. I will ask for it to be taken out. I know exactly what I want, and I am very particular. Because of that, I can confidently say I left very, very happy.

The stitch braids were neat, clean, precise, and beautifully done. I felt heard, respected, and well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend Helen Posh Beauty Bar if you’re looking for skilled stylists, professionalism, and quality work—especially if you’re as picky as I am.

So this was my first time coming to this shop. Let me say I was not disappointed. Very professional , clean and answered all questions I had about my hair. I have locs and sometimes it’s hard to find someone to do your hair the way you want it. It was absolutely beautiful when I left the salon and I got compliments when I left. Also let me say this because I know this is very important to a lot of people. When she scheduled me for a certain time she focused on getting my hair done not me and 5 other customers making my stay there all day. She focused on me and I was in and out in no time. I definitely will be returning. Very happy customer and I would definitely recommend going there if your looking for someone to take care of you hair.

She did an AMAZING job a simple hairstyle that I LOVED.
2ND Time was xtra-large jumbo knotless braids,another cute hairstyle. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED !

Such a beautiful salon and Top notch service. My daughter absolutely her hair and I had to book for myself the next day. We love our hair and the service is excellent.

I had an amazing experience at this salon! The atmosphere was very professional, clean, and filled with good energy. My stylist, Mia, did a truly beautiful job with my hair — she is phenomenal and her work is nothing short of amazing. I left feeling so confident and cared for.
