The red French I got done for December, the "mannequin white" was the time before that. The last set was Chrome French Manicure. The chrome is a powder that is put on the nail, wiped on, either over a French like mine or as a color in itself. They have a whole collection of chrome powders. The nail artist puts the gel on thin so it is natural looking, not too thick, but it is very durable. I don't have any that break off & this last time i went 6 weeks in between this fill. I have had 1 or 2 nails chip or break within 2 weeks, doing daily chores, etc. I have not once at this place yet. I did not need tips, so these are my natural nails with gel on top. I have been to many of the nail salons around locally, and this salon is my favorite, personally. The price is competitive as well to the other local nail salons.
I went in as a walk-in and was immediately taken care of for a fill and color change on my toes. They did a really good job shaping my nails and I was very satisfied with the way they polished them. The lack of detail to the polish application is what made me leave D&D Nails on Mantoloking Road. That, and the fact that even with an appointment if they get busy or want to leave early they expect you to come back for the rest of the service. Then only did my pedicure but wanted me to return for my nails.(I've been going there over 2 years now and they know I am very particular) Whereas Hot Nails took me with no appointment and made me feel like a priority customer. Guess who has my business now?...lol
