My company vehicle has a pre-owned truck cap with three doors that unfortunately did not come with a set of keys. Chuck was able to make a brand new key in less than an hour that works perfectly with each lock. Jim was prompt and professional with the reinstallation of the test cylinder from one door and was thorough in his explanation of how to ensure longevity of the existing locking mechanisms. Once in a great while, you call up a random small business vendor and have a refreshingly good experience. In today’s age of “Home Depot and Lowes” digital locks, true locksmith craftsmen are a dying breed. Jim showed up on a Sunday in 25 minutes and picked our door lock in 45 seconds. If not for his 40 years of skill, I’d have been taking my drill to the lock cylinder and rekeying the whole house as a result! Well worth the charge; remember you’re paying for the decades it took to get experienced in the art/skill and not the time! Careful, quick, and kind are the three words I’d use to describe my experience with Hunterdon Lock & Safe! I’d give 6 stars if I could!

We purchased a home that had problems with essentially all the lock & door hardware. Chuck and Jim were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and made sure everything was done the right way with high quality parts. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Check he is there, as he may go out during "open" hours for emergency calls. I was able to get two different keys to Ebikes from him. He took the time to find the right key. The Ebike companies do not sell spares, yet you need the "key" to use the bike. I brought the Ebike locks with me to the store to ensure they work.
