My family, relatives and I have been to this island and that it was a nice and sunny day. All of us walked around the island and that the island was wonderful because of marvelous views of New York city skyline, and the statue of liberty. Also, that there were plenty of trees there to keep people cool down during the hot weather.
Definitely the most visited place in new York, the ferry terminal is quite organized with those crowds
It's a little confusing ... but this review is for the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island with tickets purchased from City Experience.
The ferry entrance is next to Castle Clinton in the southern tip of Manhattan, inside the Battery Park. It's very straightforward and the ride is short and sweet.
If you've a few minutes to spare, do visit the circular Castle Clinton or Castle Fort.
