Little Village Country Day School was an excellent choice for our family for both of our children to attend!! Ms. Joanne was a wonderful teacher for our eldest and she was ready and well prepared for kindergarten. The activities such as Little Chef, Music Class with Ms. Annette and Kiddie Soccer were excellent programs implemented into our children's weekly schedule. Ms. Gianna was a wonderful toddler teacher and Ms. Anna who always answered any questions I had for my younger child. The program Director and Owner Marlene is lovely and always responsive and answered any questions my husband and I had for our children. Monthly newsletter updates are shared with the families in order to show the parents the curriculum and content the children are working on during the day. Highly recommend!!
I just want to give a public "Thanks" to Little Village Country Day School. Not only do they have friendly staff and a great program, Ms. Marlene and staff are accommodating and go over and beyond when situations arise. Thank you, thank you!!!
We put a lot of effort into finding the right Pre-K program for our daughter. We were focused on finding a school for our daughter. We were focused on finding a school with a strong academic program, caring teachers and staff, and a fun, safe place for our daughter to learn and create a positive first experience with school. And, after looking at 12 other schools, we found everything we were looking for and more at the Little Village Country Day School in Randolph. The director, Marlene, took great pride in explaining the wonderful academic program, showing us around the large, open classroom with lots of learning toys in well-organized bins, bulletin boards ready to display the children's work in September, and big windows that let in lots of sunlight. Everyone at the school was incredibly friendly, and genuinely cared about the children there.
We were impressed also by how much thought went into the program. There is a cozy area created just for circle time that really focuses the children's attention on their teachers and learning.
The school also provides a plethora of options to accommodate many families, from before and after care, to a half day morning program or a full day program as well as setting up a schedule of how many, and what days your child will attend. Little Village also offers an optional school lunch program, so that parents are given a menu for the month and can select which days, if any, their child will buy lunch. There is a science program, an optional music class, a S.T.E.M program. These are all options that are available to parents so that they can make decisions on what they can afford, while still getting a quality educational program offered to their child.
As hard as it was to leave my little girl at the school for the very first time I have to say it felt a lot better when we picked her up that afternoon when she came running over for hugs and then begged us to let her come back tomorrow. I know for sure we have found the right school for our daughter.
