MonteCarlo model # 3DIR52XXD-V1 Ceiling fun HUMS!!! Even on low speed. Nice fan but for a bedroom, it may be distracting or it could serve as "white noise." The big issue with this fan is that it often loses communication with the remote. It will start and stop, on its own, for no reason. Then you have to go through the reset process, which works about 50% of the time. I wish there was a way to manually turn the fan and light on and off. I have 2 of these fans and the problem occurs with both of them...but of course not at the same time. They have minds of their own.
