I went to Quality transmissions after having my truck checked at 3 other places. The owner Rich, is a stand up guy and very honest about what I needed in my truck.--Rich is a very honest and competent mechanic! He didn't even charge me a dime for diagnosing and looking further into my transmission problem even after I told him at first that I would get the repair done there and then changed my mind the next day because I ended up selling the truck as is--he wasn't even upset and charged me $0. I would definitely go there again for all my auto repair needs. I highly recommend this shop! Thank you RICHARD of quality Transmission service in Little Ferry!

Free and honest estimate on my 2009 Sienna transmission, but I didn't have the cash. So I went to a reputable nationwide chain to get financing. I decided to wait, and when I had my own credit, I went back to Rich's and he completely rebuilt the transmission for as good a price and warranty as the chain quoted me for a used transmission, and $1000 less than they quoted for a remanufactured transmission. No skimping, just really experienced & competent. After 500 miles, he looked it over again for free to double check the work. Went back later for a problem unrelated to the transmission and he fixed it while I waited. 100% trustworthy.

I was recommended to this shop by my mechanic and they were very good. They found a very easy to miss cracked sensor that only showed the crack when the engine was hot. That's great detective work. The owner took great pains to explain everything to me. They had to charge a bit extra, but considering the level of service, it was quite fair.

    Highly recommended!

Brought my 2003 Acura TL Type S there after hard 2nd gear shifts were felt. I had replaced the transmission already with a newer unit, but your never know with V6 Honda/Acura transmission's. After Rich (the owner) took the car for a day and ran physical and data test on it, it was found to be my coil packs are misfiring. Rich and his colleagues are very professional and knowledgeable. He did not even want anything for the information he had given me, a true stand up guy. Take your vehicle there for true and honest advice, 30 years of being there says something!!!
