Shawnee is a warm and welcoming Bible based church with amazing programs for all ages! Awana, VBS, youth group, adult groups, sports, etc. A wonderful place to praise God and grow closer to him.
Remember coming here in the 1990's when the gym was first built. Glad to see the place hasn't changed that much, but the newer additions such as the coffee shop is a welcome site. The atmosphere here is still warm and inviting.
I have been seeking a new church home and I found It! The folks there are really welcoming, genuinely interested to get to know you and they followed up with me via a phone call! I am very pleased with the people there who call Shawnee Baptist home. The preaching is from the biblical text, not some scripture with fluff thrown in. They are seeking to know God to the fullest!
This is a great bible preaching church with an awesome and balanced congregation. Sunday morning worship is refreshing and uplifting! Their children's programs, including Awana clubs, are very well attended. Pastor Aaron and the Sunday school teachers are eager to help others grow in their faith. There are many younger families with children in this church and that is a big attraction. I highly recommend Shawnee Baptist church!
