Soozel Sweets

The holiday cookie tin from Suzan of Soozel Sweets Bakery was absolutely delightful. Every cookie tasted incredibly fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The gingerbread cookies truly stood out — perfectly spiced, with a real ginger taste, and unbelievably soft.

Each cookie was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. This tin felt festive, comforting, and indulgent all at once. A perfect holiday treat and a wonderful gift — I can’t recommend Soozel Bakery enough!

Such a cute atmosphere and great deserts! I have high standards for sweets and this place always hit. The dubai brownie is a must and the tiramisu is also very good, used it for my 20th birthday cake :) They also sold candles which was nice. Very friendly staff. Recommend this place!!

Sorry for the blurry photos. This bakery is so cute!!! My friend and I were eating next door and she told me about this place so we decided to try it. The cookies were absolutely amazing. They also offer coffee, lattes, and this chocolate baklava pie!!! Also a bunch of delish treats. If you love almond croissants…the almond croissant cookie is a MUST. Best cookie out of the ones I tried!!!

Adorable little bakery that smelled amazing when i walked in. The ladies were very helpful and friendly and the desserts are very good. The M&M cookie was melty and delicious and chewy. The opera cake was light and moist. The pistachio chocolate baklava had cardamom and was a wonderful texture. They recommended the brown butter cookie as a best seller and it was very moist and delicious. Less sweet than the m&m cookie but a perfect option for someone who loves cookies but wants something that isnt overwhelmingly sweet. I will definitely be back

Wow – what an awesome bakery! Soozel Sweets is truly a hidden gem tucked away in Lawrenceville. From the outside, it’s easy to miss — the cursive fonts and exterior signage don’t really scream “bakery,” which is a disappointment because what’s inside is absolutely worth discovering.

Once you step in, though, it’s dessert heaven! They’ve got an impressive variety — baklava, pistachio sweets, Dubai-style chocolates, and more. Everything looked so tempting. I picked up a chocolate croissant, and I have to say — it’s one of the best I’ve had in all of NJ. Flaky, rich, and perfectly baked.

Tried a few other desserts as well and they were all delicious. The coffee could definitely use an upgrade, but honestly, the sweets make up for it. Plus, there’s plenty of parking outside, which is always a bonus.

Overall, a great experience. Just wish the exterior matched the quality inside. Still, this place is not to be missed for dessert lovers — I’ll absolutely be back!
