The Temple Sholom community is warm and welcoming. Every member truly counts and is encouraged to volunteer and be a part of building the community we want to have. I particularly like that our congregants and clergy are down-to-earth and quickly got to know my family and me. I find this congregation to be especially welcoming of non-Jewish spouses and loved ones. And I’m grateful for the innovative and meaningful Jewish education my children receive.

As a member of Temple Sholom of 50 years I have watched a formerly vibrant congregation diminished by decreasing membership and leadership that is failing to meet the needs of its membership. As a now senior citizen I have almost nothing to continue to draw me back; I pray that new leadership can revitalize a failing congregation and welcome me back for reasons beyond what they expect me to contribute financially without providing any services in return. I am grieving for a dying Temple.

Small wonderful community. When we go to any event everyone knows our name and our kids. Our kids are always welcomed and encouraged to attend events. We had an amazing time at the recent casino night, great event every year with great prizes!

My family by marriage have been members of Temple Sholom across 4 generations, and I am proud to call it my spiritual home. Temple Sholom is a community centered around the values of Reform Judaism, in a space that welcomes all.

I was privileged to attend Shabbat services tonight with the fine people at Temple Shalom. I was made very warmly welcome. The service was beautiful. Cantor Sharlein lead the service with her angelic voice. Thank you all for your gracious hospitality. Shabbat Shalom.
