I had a HydraFacial done, and the experience was amazing. Sienna was incredibly professional from the moment I arrived and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire treatment. She explained each step as she went along and answered all of my questions with so much patience and knowledge.

I understand and respect that as a salon academy, students are given the opportunity to practice and refine their skills. I was open to having a senior student work on my hair, trusting that their level of training would ensure a satisfactory result under the supervision of an instructor.

That said, I want to express my disappointment with the overall experience. While the balayage result was just okay and didn’t significantly differ from my previous color, I appreciated that it didn’t cause damage to my hair. However, the haircut was particularly upsetting. I specifically asked for curtain bangs, but instead, nearly all of my front hair was cut into two sections of the same short length, leaving me with an awkward and unflattering look.

What’s more concerning is that when the instructor arrived, I expected some correction or feedback—but nothing was done about the bangs. The student proceeded to blow-dry my hair in what felt like an attempt to conceal the mistake, rather than address it. The end result is hair that looks uneven, with sharp, choppy ends that now stick out in an odd way.

I genuinely wanted this to be a positive experience, and I believe in giving students the chance to learn. However, I also believe that paying clients at a discount rate deserve a level of quality and accountability, especially when services are not provided for free. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that more care is taken to ensure clients aren’t left with results that feel careless or unaddressed.
