I am new to the church, but not new to Whiting. Pastor Rene has been my pastor for 3 years now, and I moved to this church when I got the news of her transferring here. She is awesome and the services are great!
I love just being able to listen to her and absorbing her message is for the week and being able to apply it. The people are friendly and welcoming, too. Pastor's first service at the church was great....the red carpet was rolled out for her....and the next time that I went, she was really welcoming to everyone in the congregation. I love just being there.
Gina (in the office) is wonderful, and even though I still work full-time (while most of the congregation is retired), there are still plenty of things for me to do in this congregation. I'm so glad that I am here.
