Ability Transmissions

I’ve used this guy twice over a decade ago…. He did a nice 👍 job a couple of times on my old Saturn SL2….I was just disappointed & left hanging when he refused another old car I had…
:-( He should’ve at least did something for an old-time customer. Denied twice for this much needed service, then a loss.
You could‘ve done at least something minimal brother ….

My 2002 Ford Expedition had transmission issues. I brought the vehicle to Ability to evaluate the problems. Since this was a 2002 vehicle with about 100,000 miles. I thought it would be worth saving.
I called Ability on a Saturday and a very nice woman answered the call. Her name was Sue. Sue told me to bring the Expedition to the shop and she would drive me home. NOBODY DOES THAT ANYMORE.
I received a call from Ability Transmission the following week . They asked me to come down so they can explain and show me what was going on.
The owner , John , his head Service Technician . Red and Sue all spoke to me about the issues with the Expedition. I was sold on their expertise, knowledge and unbelievable customer service. I went ahead with the job.
The Expedition runs like it is brand new. People are just not like this anymore .When you bring your vehicle to thesemmercial places. They give the run around and you DO NOT get the real story. They work from a script. However no one or no company will give you such services as Ability Transmissions in Lindenhurst , New York.
Ability goes way beyond the norm.

Absolutely great work!! Not just Transmissions they can fix anything. I Will definitely be back If I ever need work done on my car!!

Fantastic shop fantastic people.Got my car back and had an issue .I thought it was transmission related.I called them they came to my house and fixed the problem.Turns out it had nothing to do with the transmission. It was a ket switch problem Went to give them money and they said no problem glad we could help.Highly recommended
