Not great, but what should be expected from a city establishment. The food was ok. I've had better. My order was take-out and they didn't give any kind of plasticware(spoons/forks/knives) and no napkins. This may very well be my first and last time eating here.
This place has a new fan! Really good Indian food this far north in the Bronx. The owner is very nice and the food is quite tasty. It was a surprise to me as someone who mainly spent time eating from other excellent mostly Caribbean and African eateries in the area, but this place stands among them as a great place to chow down.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough! The people are so welcoming and kind, and the food is absolutely amazing. Don’t let the look of the place fool you—the dishes are flavorful, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend the chicken masala. The host even gave my sister and me free rice pudding to try, and it was to die for!
