Before Fr. DePau passed, we had 2 masses onSunday filled
with people who cherished the Latin mass. Grateful to see it streaming.
The most wonderful church in the world.
Having grown up in the Novus Ordo church, and left it soon as I could, I became faithless. Wandering without any spiritual guidance it is by radio I found this little oasis. After educating myself in Latin prayers, and their significant meanings, I ventured out to Westbury on Christmas Day 1998, and have never left, despite losing the founder of the CTM and it's Ave Maria Chapel, Fr. DePauw. We persevered for 3 years till we found another priest, all the while celebrating a spiritual communion in the presence of the Most Blessed Sacrament, which we are presently doing again, and will continue to do. All the while avoiding heresy and schism which finds its' home in the Novus Ordo church along with lawsuits, parish closings, criminal priests and silent bishops. It is because of Mr. Cuneo's steadfast refusal to betray his word to Fr. DePauw that keeps the Ave Maria Chapel free of all scandal, error or compromise. Anyone who has been here knows the story of what happened, and like the last time when we were without a priest, those who came here for the True Faith stayed and those impatient ones are like the seed that fell on rock who hear God's teaching and gladly accept it but when trouble comes, they turn away. Comfortable Catholicism. Christ said He would only find a handful when He returned.
I made my first Holy Confession and first Holy Communion at this chapel in 1973 when my family lived in The Bronx. As for the guy who posted the negative review and wanted the state to investigate the chapel, remember leftist separation of church and state
