Love this library. We also love Adriance.

This is my favorite library in Poughkeepsie. I work remotely and often I come to this location to work when I need a change of scenery. It's always peaceful and there are seats near large windows if you like to work in natural light. Between 9-2pm it's fairly quiet, between 2-5 it can get busy, but still a great work space. I also love the art displayed across from the circulation desk.

Beautiful, clean, quiet library. Perfect place to study or work remote. The book selection isn't huge, but as a mid-hudson library system patron, you have access to books from all libraries at your fingertips. The best part about this branch has to be the attached used book store located at the back end. There are many used books for affordable prices (50 cents for paperback). They also have a free book program for military personnel. The store is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

This library was built too small. Many people use this library and it would draw a larger crowd if it offered more space. It is clean, staff is helpful and friendly, and during non-peak hours there is plenty of available parking space. The conference rooms are too small. The library has a bookstore in the rear of the building with books being sold at bargain prices.
