When I began planning my wedding I had no doubt in my mind who I wanted, and trusted, with my wedding hair - Nicole at Bobbi Pins! I was lucky enough that she was available for our special day! Nicole is a wonderful and talented hair stylist and on top of her skills she is kind, fun and passionate. Nicole’s experience and expertise were extremely helpful in the hair and wedding planning process. She knew exactly the questions to ask and how to help create the vision I had in mind. I provided her with a few pictures of what I had in mind and she took her time to show me my options during the trial. At the end of the trial I felt even more confident with the style and look I would have for my special day. When it came to the day of, Nicole created a schedule which coordinated with our makeup stylist and photographer times. This was invaluable because I shared the schedule with my bridal party so that everyone knew where and when they had to be on the wedding day. Her tips and schedule were extremely helpful to keep the day organized and everyone on track. My hair came out perfectly, just like it did at the trial, it stayed up all night and everyone had wonderful things to say about it! Nicole achieved my vision 100%. I couldn’t imagine my hair any other way and working with anyone else! I recommend Nicole for all of your hair needs, my forever hair home has been and will continue to be Bobbi Pins, make Bobbi pins your home for all of your hair needs and you’ll never be disappointed!

Lovely salon nestled in Stony Brook. I stopped into Bobbi Pins this morning for the first time. Nicole was an absolute pleasure and I left the salon with a beautiful new haircut. Looking forward to returning regularly.

Jill is AMAZING! I went to Bobbi Pins for the first time after having a difficult time finding a stylist that really understands what I want. And then I found Jill! She consulted with me to get an idea of what I was looking for, offering her expertise and explaining specific techniques that she felt would work best because of my hair and complexion. She talked me through the steps she was taking on my hair, explaining why she was making certain decisions, to keep me informed and part of the process. As if this wasn't great enough, she was also great to talk to during the process. You will pay for the excellent quality, so be sure to bring cash (they accept cash and checks for services), but it's worth it for someone who takes the time to make you look how you imagined.

Nicole is a fabulous person and wonderful at what she does! I would highly recommend Bobbi Pins to anyone who is looking for a relaxing day and ending it with beautiful hair!

Nicole and her team are sweet as pie! Such a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. The studio is GORGEOUS all white. The best part is walking out with the product you are always searching for from a salon; all of the girls are talented and meticulous! So happy I found this little hidden surprise tucked in the foothills of Stony Brook!
