Great place to plane spot planes are 900 to 500 feet above before landing lots of bench and bench tables to relax and watch.

My Grandson ❤️ Avaition and tell me the name size etc.etc. Of almost every 🛫. He was the only 1 that came threw. I took him along the landing paths of JFK so he could get a look and feel of them going by.

Chill atmosphere in a relaxing park. Playground and sprinklers for the kids. Bbq family reunion gathering spot. Football field and bleachers on the other side of the park area. Public restrooms. Street parking can be tricky but is available.
Only downside is the grass could be maintained a little better. Remember to bring your bug spray for summer nights.

Nice to walk in this park while you wait for your plane.
The view is beautiful and we have the right to planes that land every five minutes

This is a beautiful park. Well kept & safe. I've been walking here for 3 years. There are Tennis courts, ,basketball, football field, workout area, handball courts, lots of room & trails to walk, picnic areas additional areas where groups can gather water and just a great park altogether. Little bridges, ducks, birds, turtles. A great park for all. Children's playground, and plenty of parking around. 2 bus stops right here as well.

Near the Sunrise highway, surrounded by homes on certain sides. Runners: You won't get bored several ways you can run and see the same person 2x. Yes it is huge.

Wild mushrooms, berries you see them here to. Different types of tree weathering on the bark.

Walking at night or very early am there are lighted lamppost all over the park & those spot lights near the tennis court

I love it here. This is my peace.
