Carl is the nicest store owner ever. He even had little treats for my pup.

Carl, the owner, can fix anything and is super generous with his time. This small local shop is a true gem!

Buddy's is the kind of hardware store you wish you had in your town. It may look small, but this store has everything you need. Just ask, and you shall receive excellent advice and how-to instructions from Buddy, a colorful character who probably knows better than you what's needed to complete your project. City Island is lucky to have Buddy and his all-around great store. And we know it.

If Karl can't find the solution to your home or boating problem no one can. This hardware store and Karl specifically is one of the reasons I keep my boat on city island for the winter. My 20+ year old sailboat seems to always need a fitting for some leaky something that Karl is the master of tracking down. Can't say enough this place.
