I’m completely in love with this place — it’s nostalgic, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. Every sense is equally enchanted. I’ve always had a deep love for all things Italian.

I’ve stayed at Casa Cip several times over the last three years. During my latest two stays, I was reminded why this is my favourite hotel in New York.

I arrived on a very early flight at 7 AM to NY and went straight to the hotel. They didn’t have to give me a room till the afternoon, and I had no expectations.

However, within two hours I was given a room by a very kind and professional member of the front desk team. She was incredibly polite, helpful and made me feel very welcome. The staff at this hotel are honestly world class. From the cleaning team, front desk, to the folks in the club and especially at breakfast service. Everyone makes you feel very welcome and well taken care of.

The hotel is located a little out of the way: at the southern tip of Manhattan. If you’re like me and find New York busy and overwhelming, this is the perfect spot - you’re not far from the action but surrounded by water on three sides.

The gym is well equipped, the spa is clean and plentiful. The food is great. Overall a stellar place.

Here are some very minor things that would elevate the experience even further

- simple cold plunge in the spa instead of one of the showers - quite a low hanging fruit that would complete the spa experience for hotel guests and members. With places like othership in New York, the bar is high.
- volume control / music control via tablet in the gym. The gym is normally very empty, and to be listening to a very loud American radio station can be slightly annoying, especially when you’re the only one in there.

The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and stunning city views. Hotel and it exceeded all expectations. I expected far better from a place that promotes itself as one of New York’s premier hotels and clubs. Despite holding a confirmed booking, I was stopped and treated with suspicion in a way that made me feel singled out for being Asian. It was an incredibly disappointing and unwelcoming experience.

The service and professionalism were nowhere near the level that Casa Cipriani advertises. A luxury establishment should set the standard for hospitality, not leave guests feeling discriminated against. Being featured in top magazines doesn’t mean much if the basics of respect and courtesy aren’t upheld.

I cannot recommend this property in good faith. Guests should be treated with dignity regardless of race or background — something I did not experience here.

Casa Cipriani is pure perfection from start to finish. The moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the elegance, warmth, and attention to detail. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the rooms are stunning, and every space feels designed with both luxury and comfort in mind. The service is flawless, everyone is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The dining is incredible, the rooftop is unmatched, and the private club atmosphere is something truly special. Whether it’s enjoying a cocktail while watching the sunset, listening to live music, or simply relaxing in the most beautiful setting, Casa Cipriani delivers an experience you’ll never forget. I can’t wait to come back.
