I love Naseem and the country grocer. He is such a nice man. Lovely place to have close by - he’s always very good to my kids and a real pleasure to speak with. The tiki masala was amazing!!!
I visited recently from Long Island, my friends and I got an air BNB about 5 minutes away for the Renaissance Fair. I don't know about other people but me personally, I tend to anxiety purchase food when far from home. Anyway, Country Grocery got rid of all my fears. Their prices were reasonable, they had a great selection compared to other local markets, and the cherry on top: the owner. He's such a wonderful soul. He answered all my questions, dealt with me taking 2+ trips and was so kind and generous I just HAD to leave a 5 star review the second I got to my car. I've worked in retail for 10+ years and this has been one of the best shopping experiences of my life. It's the little things that stick out and I'm jealous that I don't love closer. Love this place! The owner Nasim is one of the kindest store owners I've ever met. He will go above and beyond to get you what you need.
The meats here are phenomenal. They are fresh cut to your liking and the quailty blows away shoprote and the other big stores. The steaks, porkchops and chicken breast are my families favorites from here. Also makes a killer sandwich.. doesn't skimp on anything and the price is right.
The store is right off one of the stops from NJ transit. It's small but tightly packed with all sorts of food. We needed milk and timber and found both. Super kind man working
This place has been a Godsend to us locals with the only other grocery stores being 15 minutes away- not having to leave town to pick up a few things, especially in a rush! You cannot beat the friendly service that Nasim provides or the quality of the meat he gets. On Tuesdays and Thursdays he offers Indian dishes packaged up ready to take home that are incredible and such a great price for huge portions. We’re so happy to have this store and will always support their business!
