Just a quick stop with the kids for some basketball or swings. Almost always empty anytime. There is a bathroom on the grounds that is opened and closed by the parks department

The locks on the stalls of both bathrooms were broken. Very unsafe in a playground. If I as an adult felt like anyone could walk in on me at my most vulnerable moment, I can imagine how scary a kid would feel. And they'd be right. Anything could happen, and the bathrooms are off to the side by themselves. Most people who resort to a park bathroom anyway are on their last leg lol, so I am of course grateful that the bathroom was even open because it was certainly better than nothing, don't misunderstand me. I just really fear for the safety of any children using the restroom alone (and heck, any adults too! A man could just as easily be robbed with his literal pants down as he could be assaulted). Please just fix the locks on the stalls please! (And plug the holes in the stall walls leftover from old bolt removals! Very creepy)

It's been under construction for the longest and the kiddie pool has yet to be restored or maintained.

The basketball court can use some TLC . The sandlot need to be removed . The handball courts are perfect . My sons and I play handball and soccer there .
