I came here for Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party Listening Party - it was my first time here and the vibes immaculate! The crowd - perfection. I sang and danced my heart out.

This place is the best. I went for a listening party and the owner Lucas was so accommodating and hospitable. The space was filled to capacity with emo kids scream singing Hayley Williams and Lucas was vibing along with us. Great energy. Very cool experience. Will be back.

Amazing record store in Brooklyn. Great collection, easy to access, and they throw amazing listening party. I was there for Olivia Dean’s new album listening party recently and the vibe is through the roof. I’ll definitely be back!

For The Record is the BEST!! Lucas and his staff are so welcoming, they roast their own delicious beans, and it's got a great atmosphere to work, sit with a friend, and listen to some vinyl. For The Record hosted myself and 3 other artists for this year's Greenpoint Open Studios and it was the perfect location. We were set up outside and had amazing foot traffic. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a place to host an event in Greenpoint!!

When you come here you are guaranteed to walk out with a smile. The owner, Lucas, is such a genuine human being and you can tell by the way he greets you & the way he remembers you from the moment you walk in. Our recent trip was for Record Store Day, a day that is very fun but almost guaranteed to be hectic. Not only did Lucas organize a special day so well, but he also made it enjoyable, and 'for the community'. I really appreciate and respect how he makes everyone feel. Being able to experience it myself as a happy customer, but also to witness it from everyone who comes in.

Not to mention, the beverages and coffee being a great additional touch to the wide range of records available to browse.

Today was really great, and so is every time that I come to this spot. Definitely check it out when you get the chance. And Lucas, thanks for making this spot so great.
