Johnattan deserves the recognition. He recently did whole list of things but I want to highlight my car’s suspension, power steering pump, and most importantly—the AC compressor, which couldn’t have been more crucial with this NYC heat wave.

I never write reviews but was compelled to do so. The last thing I wanted to do was to take my Accord to a Honda dealership, where I would be taken to the cleaners, yet, I struggled to find a skilled and reasonable Honda mechanic.
Luckily I found Jonathan, at Independent Honda Repairs: he is a preeminent Honda mechanic with decades of experience, and his prices are more than reasonable. He changed a transmission in my car and adjusted the valves in my son's Accord, which was tripping a code, that no one could figure out.

I don't ever write reviews but I had to because this was one of the best customer service I ever experienced. I was so impressed with Jonathan's professionalism and candor. We had to get a pre-purchase inspection for a used 2010 Honda Fit and Jonathan was ready for the task. He walked us through the entire process and explained all of the things he's doing. We find it educational, especially for a first time car owner! He was incredibly patient and very experienced working with Honda cars. You don't see many mechanics open on Sundays and the fact that Jonathan was able to provide a pre-purchase inspection on a Sunday in a short notice serves us incredibly well. No complains whatsoever, in fact, if you're looking at this review to decide whether to engage his service, just give him a call, and I'm sure he would address any issues you'll have.
