Island Homecraft’s Dan Bolger, and his expert crew, recently knocked down a wall and combined and remodeled our kitchen and dining room area. My wife and I could not be happier with the results of their work. Dan is professional, respectful, incredibly responsive, and flexible, as is his crew of Pete, Keith, and Steve. They created a wonderful comfort zone for us, to the point where my wife and I would leave the house and just let them do their jobs. I did a ton of research and had a bunch of contractors come by before I decided to use Island Homecraft (recommended by my roofer DiCostanzo construction who is also great) to do our kitchen/first floor renovation and could not be happier.
Dan the owner is honest, straightforward and fair from the first meeting he was upfront about costs and timeline and gave me a huge list of references which I called quite a few and all had nice things to say. During the project He was always available via text or call to answer any questions or concerns or update me on the schedule which was a comfort to us.
His crew (Steve,Keith,Pete)are friendly and skilled they do beautiful work and always took a few minutes to chat and show me what they were working on. Everyone from the plumber, electrician and all trades were professional and skilled. The job moved along in a timely manner with no big issues due to their expertise and any small issues were handled quickly. On Dans recommendation We used Gallo Rosso kitchens (Dom the owner) for our design/cabinetry and were thrilled with him as well (separate review on his page) . I can go on and on but at the end of the day a big Reno is a stressful thing no matter what, but having a contractor who is trustworthy, honest, fair and does great work makes it a lot less stressful and we would for sure use them again.
We just had IHC redo both our bathrooms and just like the first time we used them we are more than happy, it all came out great. Dan, his guys and his group of subs are all top notch was. IHC was my first and only call when it came time to do the bathrooms I knew I could trust the team to do a great job and they did. Dan and his crew remodeled my elderly mom’s bathroom (total gut and redesign) and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Dan and his crew were amazing: polite, professional, great communication, and so kind and respectful toward my mom. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable during the process and left the premises clean at the end of each workday. I had many questions throughout the remodel, and Dan and his crew were always available, either answering my calls or texts immediately or within minutes. The photos speak for themselves; I just wish I had taken “before” shots because the difference is incredible.

They came highly recommended to us and we gave them a call. Dan came to my home already having reviewed the plans made by Dominick at Gallo Rosso Kitchen Design. He was professional, thorough, very knowledgeable of what was to be done and showed us pictures of previous jobs of the same nature. He provided us with a list of previous customers we could contact for references. He provided us with a detailed contract, a timeline of the project, and any unexpected costs that may arise. His crew was there early each day explaining what would be done and what we should expect. Everybody involved respected our home and provided protective measures for our furniture, appliances, floors and other rooms. They swept and vacuumed EVERY night leaving a clean workspace for the following day. We were informed every step of the process and notified of any glitches (damaged items, backordered parts, etc.). Any minor details were immediately taken care of. Our input was always priority and the project was completed on time, within budget, and without any issues. As an experienced DIYer who always renovated my home of 35+ years myself, figuring "if you want it done right, do it yourself", I entrusted Dan and his crew and didn't regret it. They do top notch work and highly recommend them.
