LIMS is a truly outstanding community center. The Maqtab program, Saturday School, monthly seminars, weekly Sahaba series, and weekly Q&A sessions make it a vibrant hub of learning for all ages. The masjid also accommodates the community beautifully with two Jummas in the winter and three Jummas in the summer. Historically, LIMS has been blessed with very active and engaged imams—starting from Imam Ahmadullah Kamal to now Imam Akmal Shaki—both highly knowledgeable and deeply respected by the community. A wonderful place for growth, education, and connection for the muslim ummah living near East Meadow, Long Island neighborhood!

I have visited this Masjid several times over the years. It is always very clean and well-organized. The staff and administration are friendly, caring, and welcoming. There are also many community programs and activities for children.
