It is a joy and privilege to teach children outdoors in nature
I’m so glad my son went to preschool here. The teachers were so hands on and made every child feel special. The kids were outside learning and exploring rain or shine which was very important to me. To this day my son still asks to go and visit.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Little Ferns for a first time preschool experience for our son. The teachers are kind, caring, and so attentive to the children. They stay outdoors for the majority of the day and hike, plant, learn about plants and animals, make s’mores, read stories, have water days, get the opportunity to pet and hold animals that live at the nature center, and so much more all outside. They do all of this while still incorporating “typical” school activities including arts and crafts, learning letters and numbers, and circle time. We loved the idea of our son digging in the dirt and splashing in puddles while also learning so much! As a first time mom and a little nervous about a first time school experience, Sam and the other teachers eased my mind and created a beautiful school year.
