I would like to start off by staying what happened to this place, me being supportive local native of this bakery for my years I can fairly distinguish the level of care and love that used to go into they cake to what I received yesterday. The craftsmanship really prompted this review paying $50 to have your cake look like third grader baking project is insane. So it’s a hit and missed for me presentation sucks , cake tasting amazing.
I had a wonderful experience with this bakery. From the moment you walk in, the heavenly smell of fresh baked goods greets you, it’s absolutely mouthwatering. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, and they serve you promptly when you come in to pick up your order. Their cakes can be nut and raisin free. They’re automatically decorated with a warm and delicious cream cheese frosting. Messages can also be added upon request, their ordering system works so great.
I have a grape allergy and was unaware that the cakes typically came with them. As soon as I brought it up, they didn’t hesitate to help me and went above and beyond to rectify the issue. Their communication throughout was consistent, respectful, and reassuring.
You can tell they take great pride in their work and truly care about their customers. Parking can be a bit tricky, but if you arrive early, you might snag a spot. Either way, it’s worth the effort just be patient; these folks work incredibly hard.
I’m so impressed with their service and quality that I’ll be a forever customer. Highly recommend!
I discovered this bakery on Instagram and made a mental note to visit the next time I was nearby. A few weeks later, I finally had the opportunity to stop by and picked up a few slices of the various flavors they offered.
First, I want to mention that this is not a large bakery at all; it appears to be a family-oriented establishment. I specifically went there for the carrot cake, which they offer with or without nuts, available either as a whole cake or by the slice.
I purchased one slice of each flavor, and although I don’t remember the exact prices, they were reasonable. As for the carrot cake, it was just okay. I wasn't particularly impressed; I've had better. While it was tasty, it was a bit dry. My mom, who is the "carrot cake queen," agreed with me without me prompting her, so I knew my opinion was confirmed.
On a positive note, I really enjoyed the coconut scone—it was moist and not overly sweet. I didn't taste the chocolate slice, and the strawberry slice was just okay. Overall, I believe the visit was worth it, but I might choose to pass on this bakery in the future. I do want to commend them for being a small, Black-owned business that has made a name for itself, so kudos to them!
I have to say that this place has THE BEST carrot cake ever. I’ve traveled to almost 42 states and have moved over 40 times in my life, including multiple countries. This is the best place for cake HANDS DOWN! They’re very accommodating through Instagram messaging, so if you have any questions, reach out to them through there! The BEST!!!!!!
