The passing of my father was the worst moment of my, my sisters’ and my mom’s lives. The last thing we wanted to do was plan a funeral, but we knew we had to. So we hired Mike Walsh.

We did not know him personally , but he was a trusted co-worker of my brother in law. Mike came into our lives the entire week, took care of everything for us and made it easy so we can grieve and not worry about a thing. As horrible as that week was, I noticed that Mike has a gift. I told him it’s not a career that he has, but a vocation. It’s a calling.

Mike is able to read a family- he knew when we needed to cry, to laugh, ask tough questions .. and he felt like family. He respected every emotion we went through with grace and would do anything to make our lives easier that week.
He changed his personality to what we were going through at any given moment .

When you lose someone so special, the emotions are all over the place. Even though Mike never met my Dad, he acted like he truly knew him. And that is what meant so much to us. He acted like Dad was also his family.. like his own Dad. He assured us that nothing but respect would be given to my father throughout the entire time.
