I came to Margo’s practice because I admired her skill and artistry as a vocalist, and hoped to learn from her how to access a similar kind of freedom and ease in all parts of my range. I love her somatic approach to singing and have definitely noticed a significant change in how my voice both feels and sounds: I’m more comfortable in my upper register, vibrato comes easier, and my body is relaxed. I came to Margo as a beginner singer to help me with breath support and confidence for my first performance amongst 100 friends and family. I signed up for 10 lessons . I was not sure what to expect but was willing to do what it took to progress as a singer. Margo has an approach that immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Throughout our sessions I had so many questions, she answered every one of them with detail and interest which made me feel like I was getting inside information that you cant find online. Margo was also very flexible with my schedule and was always available when I reached out via text for a schedule change or answering any of my questions I may have forgotten to ask during our session. Margo also made me feel that when we had our sessions, I was her complete priority and all of her attention was on our lesson. By the time I got to my 3rd lesson, I was really looking forward to the relaxation phase of allowing my breath and body to move naturally, organically, it was amazing! I should also add that Margo called before and after my event to see how I was doing, what an amazing support she is! My event was April 6th and I surpassed every expectation I had for myself, I owe most of this to Margo! I highly recommend other artist give themselves the gift of her, it is well worth it! I sent Margo this picture before the event started, I had no stage fright! Just excitement!
