When my house burned down I didn't know what to do. I was angry and upset because my tenant, who was squatting in my house for a year right before being evicted, decided to burn down the place. I had the NYPD, fire department, random people calling me. So when adjusters called me asking to represent me for insurance I really did not want to talk to any of them. It was like vultures surrounding a carcass. What kind of shady people would want to make money off my misfortune. So, when Gary at NorthEast Adjustment called me I already did not like him.

Although hesitant, I signed up with Gary to become my adjuster mainly because the way he treated my parents during the whole ordeal. He was supportive, never pushy, and was so helpful in answering our questions when we truly did not know what to do. He not only answered everything and gave us advice professionally, but he cared for us like a family friend. That was when the walls started to crack and a friendship started to form.

Over the next few months Gary took the lead in speaking to our insurance and we could not have asked for anyone better. I truly believe now looking back Gary was God's answered prayer to this whole mess and I am just completely ashamed to have thought so negatively initially. We were able to get way more money than we initially thought, but what is even crazier is that he continued to fight for us after the first initial payout and we received a total of three payments/checks. Sometimes God answers in miracles but many times God uses people, like Gary, to help us. They made the process look very easy and he told me i did not need to pay for cleaning and gas/electrical hookup fees if I follow his instruction, until today I haven't paid a dime. Everything was covered by my insurance company. Gary is very responsible, he pick up my calls all the time even at midnight and during his vacation. Gary and his team were extremely knowledgeable and so helpful and we are very happy we went with them. They are definitely worth every penny.
