Very good. Just one thing. No two. Parking is scarce and the quality of paper in the computer room is less then desirable. I have to print doc. In staples for quality paper. This may be the problem with most libraries in Nassau. 😒 Oh let me add, the staff is the best! Excellent in fact.

The women at the circulation desk on the 1st floor, pick and choose what rules to follow and with whom they enforce the rules with. I went there this afternoon to pick up books placed on hold. The younger lady requested my ID because I didn't have my card. While I was waiting, a female patron came in and was helped by the older woman at the circulation desk. The patron gave her last name for a book pick up, asked the clerk how much to replace a library card, in which the clerk replied "$2". The patron took the book, gave the clerk $2 and asked the clerk if she had to show ID, in which the clerk loudly and proudly replied "No". After receiving my books, I asked the clerk who helped me, "Oh!, so in the future, I don't have to show ID to pick up a book on hold?". The clerk sort of paused, quick glanced the older clerk and told me that I need to show my ID or my library card to pick up items placed on hold. I've patronized this library for over 10 years and I'm disappointed to see the early signs of decline in people services. ALL patrons should be treated respectfully and fairly and anyone with a different agenda should not be working at this establishment. Management needs to look into this and re-evaluate their hiring practices.

Outstanding service from all staff. They're knowledgeable, kind and competent. The staff worked together as a team and helped me find the answers that I sought. I had a cramp in my knee so I took the elevator which works perfectly. Quiet & clean environment. I'm thankful for this library. It's a real blessing.

Absolutely love this place! So many books!! as well as very knowledgeable staff, especially Ereina! She helped me out with everything I needed since I didn’t know a lot about specific books for school. She also recommended some amazing books that I’m almost done with!!! (She has great taste!!!!!). Adding on to her great taste, she is the sweetest person I’ve ever encountered. Met no other like her which is why I’m choosing to write a review about her. Truly an amazing individual that will exceed your expectations!
