I went w my friend and her daughter and enjoyed the historic home and property donated centuries ago by a rich businessman. There are many events on the property, and we enjoyed the Native American dancing and chanting. We also enjoyed the fair w vendors there and the food trucks.
Love their yearly celebration! The Rock Hall Country Fair is a great place to bring your kids.
They added a haunted house this year! It keeps getting better!
Very interesting, pre Revolutionary War residence. The rooms are well set up with either original or period furniture to give good idea of how the families lived. The basement has an area showing artifacts from digs on the grounds. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
This was surprisingly enjoyable. The tour guide really brought the time period alive. We were greeted by free roaming chickens in the property. I went in thinking it was going to be local history, but it really is a piece of American history.
The gift shop had a lot of fun, cute old Americana items.
I highly recommend for families with older children that can appreciate history.
Scheduled tour of Rock Hall, it was really interesting and deeply historical. Museum curator was engaging and fun to talk with, really cared about history of the house and could tell a story almost about any item or furniture piece. Highly recommend.
