Best shop around I've purchased at least 8 boards there. Tommy his family and staff are second to none.

I stopped by this nice surf shop in Rockaway and picked up a few t-shirts that are of a great quality and are super comfortable. The designs are stylish without being over the top, and they hold up well after washing. Friendly staff and a nice vibe in the store too. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking for surf gear or casual wear.

We really like the selection at the surf shop. It’s a classic beach town shop. If you want to use the dressing room, make sure you ask permission. My kids went in the dressing room without permission and we’re trying on clothes, I saw that there was a woman waiting to try on pants so I asked the girls to wrap it up and give the lady a turn before they finish trying on clothes which they did.
When they came out to give the lady a turn, the woman owning the store angrily snatched the clothes from them, and the kids felt really uncomfortable, and weren’t sure what they’ve done wrong.
We decided not to look at anything else and leave the store because we felt unwanted there.
Then, one of the kids went back because she forgot she was supposed to get a rash guard for her brother, and the lady in the store followed them around and hover over them and they felt like they were being followed as if they were going to steal.

One of the girls forgot her phone there and the owner set it aside so that when we came back, it wasn’t stolen by another customer thank goodness.
and the young lady working the register was nice and told us to have a nice day, so that was redeeming. It was a confusing experience. I hope to go back another time and have a better chance to shop around and try things on.
