I have been here at Sacred Heart Church since 2019. Not one moment of anything but love and kindness towards myself and my entire family.
The Heart of Jesus is very evident in all the loving priest gives. A great Roman Catholic Church.
I was raised in the rustic neighborhood of upper Glendale when my family moved from Kew Gardens in 1970. Every Sunday and on Holy Days I would attend Mass with my Father at Sacred Heart Church in Eastern Glendale on 78th Avenue. The Masses were sacrificed always in the most solemn and reverent manner, and the Statue of Our Lady next to the alter always spoke to me smiling, with motherly words of instruction and comfort. Sacred Heart Church is a sacred and peaceful, holy oasis in the midst of the Western World's most cosmopolitan City. And I am grateful to The Virgin for receiving years of spiritual counseling from my lifelong dear friend and mentor, Father John Fullum. Long live Sacred Heart. - John Lars Zwerenz
A wonderful homey church. It feels like a trip to country church. Father Fred is very welcoming and friendly. And The mass is very serene and reverent.
Hopefully there will a parking lot behind the church someday
The church is beautiful, it is very well maintained inside and out, and everyone is very welcoming and warm. The services are great, I'm always left with a warm feeling. I feel very at home here. My husband and I were married in this church, and we had our daughter baptized there.
