Beautiful wooden church and a peaceful atmosphere.
This has been my go to since I was a child. It is a beautiful church and the attendees are always pleasant.
Came here on a Monday evening for a healing mass the visiting priest father mcalear was wonderful. They had a parking crew so they could fit a lot of cars which was nice. It was very hot inside, I think they have air conditioning, but it wasn't Cooling the space so that was uncomfortable.
My church for over 28 yrs. Small, yet large enough, caring priests, beautiful people, quaint, community minded. Only draw back, masses were cut due to not enough Catholics attending mass regularly, otherwise to me same as St. Patrick's cathedral
SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH in the Putnam Lake hamlet in the Town of Patterson is a small family oriented, kid-friendly place to worship and practice the Catholic faith.
On Good Shepherd Sunday (April 22, 2018 this year), Lois the sheep comes to visit. She brings joy and awe to the children - and great family photo ops for their parents - and everyone has a better understanding of the Bible story about "Jesus the Good Shepherd."
It's a small parish that does BIG things - you won't get lost in the crowd.
