A beautiful and spiritual landmark serving the Greek Orthodox community on Long Island. With its striking Byzantine architecture and ornate interior, it offers a peaceful and sacred space for worship and reflection. The church, dedicated to Saint Paraskevi, a revered saint known for her miracles and healing, holds significant importance for parishioners and visitors alike.

The church often hosts various religious services, festivals, and community events, making it not only a place of worship but also a cultural hub for the Greek Orthodox community. The annual Greek Festival, in particular, is a highlight, drawing crowds for its lively atmosphere, traditional Greek food, music, and more !

Father John is amazing and empathetic to each person’s situation. He’s a Very down to earth priest and a pleasure to be in his presence. The church fellowship is engaged and welcoming. Well-run church with many good everyday folks who believe in the lord. Greek school strikes a nice balance between Greek & American where every child understands the lesson and doesn’t feel overwhelmed. Goya, and extracurricular activities are fun and well managed. We’ve been Very impressed with the church so far since we joined in 2018.

This Church is a wonderful place of worship. When you enter this Church you feel there is something special here. The Shrine is under renovation and I was told it would be completed by the end of June. Father Lou is very warm, sincere and welcoming. We stopped to see the church and we were very impressed with Father Lou. If you are ever in the neighborhood, you should drop in. Even if they are closed, you go to the side door and they let you in to worship.
