A bit of a hike from Pleasantville, but a wonderful and well kept park on the Hudson River, with great views 🌞
Wow !! Wow !! What’s a beautiful park and side view. Small park very peaceful for a small walk and the water waves you feel the vibes. Highly recommended.
Scenic Hudson Park is one of my favorite spots to relax. The views of the Hudson River are beautiful, especially around sunset. The walking trails are clean, and there's plenty of open space to enjoy a walk, run, or just sit and take in the scenery.
A very quiet and cute little park right on the river. There were not many people there when I went.
It’s an 8 min walk from the train station and the wonderful Ludy cafe.
There are many park benches and a basketball court, as well as a small path that goes along the riverfront.
It is easy to sit on the rocks along the shore if you want, but there is not a lot of shade to be found during hot days.
It seems to be a well taken care of local favorite as well as attracting people from out of town as well.
🌳 Scenic Hudson Park – A Peaceful Gem by the Hudson River 🌊
Scenic Hudson Park is one of Yonkers’ most beautiful hidden gems. Nestled right along the Hudson River, this park offers breathtaking views of the water and the Palisades across the river, especially during sunset. It’s clean, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing walk or an afternoon picnic.
The walking trails are well-maintained and great for a light jog or stroll. There are plenty of benches throughout the park where you can sit and take in the views, plus open green spaces that are ideal for kids to play or to lay out a blanket and unwind.
What I love most is how family-friendly and safe it feels. You’ll often see people walking their dogs, enjoying the waterfront, or simply soaking in the fresh air. There are even a few spots for fishing, and the park is rarely overcrowded.
Parking is usually easy, and the park is kept very clean. It’s a great escape from the hustle of the city without having to go far.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and scenic spot to relax, walk, or spend quality time with loved ones. A true gem in Westchester!
