Yesterday I noticed my car making a flapping and squeaking noise while driving. So a good friend of mines recommended s&j. I saw on google that they were closing up for the day but figured i give them a call anyway(I called at 4:20pm, and they closed at 5:00 pm). Joe picked up the phone and I explained my issue and I asked if I come stop by to get my car checked, with out any hesitation, he told me I could stop by. So I got there and he drove my car around the block to see what the issue was, he even put my car on a lift to check underneath the car. Joe told me my struts(front and rear) had to be replaced and he even let me see the struts under the lift. He even noticed tar on my front tire and clean it off(he explained thats why he heard the flapping noise) so today I bought my car to their shop to get my struts replaced. My car got done in hours and I was very satisfied with their work. This place is reasonable with their prices also. I got very good treatment and service and would highly recommend

Late Friday night 12/22/23 my VW TDI went into limp mode approaching the GW bridge on my trip from DC to Boston. I reached out to any shop nearby that would be open on Saturday before Christmas. Paul at S&F responded and took the time to help, advise, and look at my car, and get me back on the road. His proficiency with my vehicle - which typically requires multiple trips to the VW dealership or other local mechanic to correct the same issue - was abundantly clear. He’s not only professional but also caring, and generously shares his knowledge of the car, it’s mechanical needs and capabilities - as well as information on where to get the best parts for the best deal and how to locate stored records particular to your vehicle.
6 months later I called for advice and he picked up and gave me wonderful guidance.
Paul is Trustworthy, kind, capable, professional, hardworking, helpful and honest. I had a good impression from the other people who worked there too. You won’t regret coming here, my only one is that it’s not local to me. 👑

i used Frank a lot lot lot of times, honest mechanic, he help me with my 2 cars where i have to paid 10000.....$ he made for me for few hundred dollar.If some body said he over charge him i will said other mechanic may overcharge you more .I used this shop and other closed to my home and have seen a difference a lot of times, if Frank wasnt good mechanic he wasnt busy every day like a hell!!!! 2 mechanic work in his job all day long !!!! If you need to get job done you better made appointment with him before!!!! I came here from reference and approve he is GOOD he know what he doing!!!!
