Family buried here. Beautiful place to walk through. There is history, family, religion, and spirituality. A good space for reflection and introspection. The only qualm is there is no sitting unless you sit on the ground. Super hot during the middle of the day.
One of the best cemeteries I’ve been to!!! Would love to have my ashes rest here!!! 🙏
St. Raymond’s Cemetery (both Old and New) are wonderfully maintained, well laid out, and well marked sites with an ethnically diverse and historic population of Catholic burials. If you will be visiting, best to consult the maps on the web site and/or call the office in advance of your visit. Once you have the section name, (e.g. — St. Marks, St. Michael’s, etc), you can reference the ‘Range’ number (row) and plot or grave number to quickly locate those you are coming to visit. The office is closed to the general public, but you can call with questions if you need help locating a family member interred within the grounds of this peaceful setting.
A couple of my family members are sleeping in peace here and honestly it is so peaceful and beautiful some stones and mausoleums are architectural masterpieces. The lanes are clearly marked. The statues welcoming you in are beautiful and various different ones are placed on property. The office located on this property was awesome in helping me with all my needs. I wish I could remember the name to the lady who picked up because she was so courteous and helpful. The accessibility off the Randall ave exit going towards throngs neck bridge was the easiest. Thank you again😁😁😁
