Tacos El Gordo

Came here after a day of paintball and everyone enjoyed their meal. Owners were very nice and even threw in free desserts. Definitely try the chicken sopes, they were my favorite. My husband enjoyed his torts gorda, it was huge.

This is a hole in the wall Mexican place with a small seating area. The food is Northern Mexican inspired cuisine with excellent flavor and presentation. Cheap, fast, honest and flavorful food.

Molcajete feeds 3 easily and is a beautiful sampler for the adventurous.

Local authentic taco place that I wish I would’ve found sooner since I live nearby. Very authentic and very affordable. Tasty food and wonderful staff.
The amount of guacamole was a lot and was probably the best guacamole I’ve had outside my house.
Tacos are authentic coming on 2 small corn tortillas. The chorizo was tasty and Smokey. The shrimp was marinated perfectly. The mushrooms and corn was different but I liked it. The Al pastor was soft and sweet.
The horchata was tasty but we thought it could’ve been a thicker consistency.
The staff even gave us a sample of their birria meat. Very tasty too.
5/5 would return again.. and will.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and all we can say is wow! The service was amazing and the place was cute and clean. We are a family 4 and we ordered Steak sopes, birria nachos, 4 steak tacos and a burrito. We also ordered the house horchata and a mangonada. All of the food was so delicious, so far the best Mexican food I’ve had out here in Suffolk HANDS DOWN! Everything came out quick and hot! The hot sauces were delicious! We can’t wait to come back to try everything else!

Came today for an early lunch and was very happy with the taste, quality, and portion sizes. The kids quesadilla comes on a corn tortilla and was an excellent size. Everything was fresh and the habanero salsa was perfect. Owner was very friendly and answered all questions.
