After arriving at an off putting tattoo shop with a friend of mine looking to get matching tattoos, we were discouraged. But, luckily to our surprise we looked up and saw Joseph’s advertisement that quickly drew us in. We made the decision to check him out and did not regret it one bit. Joseph was welcoming and very professional. His space and setup are very clean, which was reassuring. I am very happy with the work he completed for my friend and I and will be going back for future pieces.

This is a beautiful home studio right off the Coney Island boardwalk. Joseph worked with me and a friend for quick matching tattoos and made sure we were comfortable as he set up his (clean and professional) station, which I was weary about since this is my first visit outside of an official tattoo studio. But my apprehension quickly dissolved. My friend and I had originally walked to another tattoo shop in the area and immediately got a bad feeling about the place. The Art Scribe's atmosphere is a lot more welcoming. Good conversation, reasonable prices and clean work! Very happy we noticed this shops advertisement outside the other tattoo shop. Will definitely be back!
